Her Heart Matters Campaign with the American Heart Association

Charlotte Alumnae, Concord Alumnae, and Rock Hill Alumnae Chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated are proud to announce a multi-chapter collaboration with the American Heart Association Greater Charlotte area, beginning this fall.

Together, we will launch the Her Heart Matters campaign — a powerful initiative to raise awareness about women’s heart health, with a special focus on heart valve disease. The campaign will highlight key risk factors, signs and symptoms, and actionable steps for early identification and monitoring. Outreach includes accessible educational materials and events throughout surrounding counties.

This powerful collaboration proudly aligns with Delta Sigma Theta’s national Physical and Mental Health thrust, emphasizing self-care through physical and emotional wellness, education, and advocacy.
