Our Programs

For decades, the Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has proudly served the Rock Hill community and surrounding areas. Rooted in a rich legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, our Chapter is committed to empowering individuals and uplifting communities. Through impactful youth development programs, educational initiatives, and service projects guided by the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, we continue to make a meaningful difference—honoring our past while building a stronger future.

Economic Development

Through the Economic Development Programmatic Thrust, Rock Hill Alumnae aims to help the local community provide financial education and resources necessary for Financial Fortitude. Some of our programs include:

Physical & Mental Health

The Physical & Mental Health Programmatic Thrust promotes holistic well-being by increasing awareness of mental health and providing resources that support physical and emotional resilience within our community. Some of our initiatives include:

Political Awareness & Involvement

Social Action has been the cornerstone of our Sorority’s missing since our founding beginning with the 1913 Women’s Suffrage March in Washington, DC. We have continued to support social activism under the Political Awareness and Involvement Programmatic Thrust. Some of our initiatives include:

  • Voter Registration and Education Workshops

  • Voter Registration Drives

  • Candidate Forums for Local Elections
