Welcome from the President

Velice Wells, Chapter President

Guided by the mission of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, we partner with schools, businesses, community organizations, and local leaders to expand educational opportunities, promote economic empowerment and health, advance civic and international awareness, and advocate for meaningful change throughout our communities

The Power of Yes!

As we begin our new biennium, our theme, The Power of Yes, is an invitation to serve, engage, and make a difference. Whether through community service, cultural enrichment, social action, or sisterhood, every act of involvement strengthens our chapter and our community. We also believe meaningful service is rooted in balance. Sometimes, saying “no” allows us to say “yes” where our gifts can make the greatest impact. Together, we celebrate service that is intentional, sustainable, and transformative.

Supporting this vision, First Vice President Tonyia Sinkler leads our Membership Services efforts to reclaim, engage, and retain members while fostering meaningful opportunities for sisterhood and connection. Second Vice President Beatrix Hawthorne leads Program Planning and Development, guiding initiatives that enrich our communities through education, service, and social action.

To our Sorors who are new to the area or searching for a Delta home, we extend a warm welcome. We invite you to visit our Visiting Sorors page to reconnect, fellowship, and become an active part of the Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter.

Thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to explore our programs, learn more about our chapter, and discover how we continue building on a proud legacy while embracing the Power of Yes - serving with purpose, honoring balance, and making a lasting difference
